I’m a huge summer and sunshine person. I live for glowing and sparkling on a day to day basis. I have a huge hunch that summer 2024 is going to be the year for having that glowy and dewy skin day and night. I have careful curated this list of products that I use daily to keep my skin glowing and giving that ‘glass skin’ look. The best part about this is I’ve used each and every one so it’s an honest review, it’s not sponsored, and I can personal tell you if it’s worth it and if it lasts. So let’s jump into it.
Before you say anything, almost all of these products are SPF, and I couldn’t be happier. I am a FEND for sunscreen, not only does it assist with lowering your chances of developing skin cancer but did you know it also it assists with aging as well. UVA rays are a very big contributor to dark spots, wrinkles, fine lines, and the works. This is science, not me. This is probably why everyone thinks I’m 17 and not 26 because I can’t go a day without any of this products. Each one has it’s own tremendous qualities that I’ll go through, and if you’re not in love with them after the first use.. well pack it up and mail to me because I will use every last drop.
Kopari has recently released a line of my new essential glow to products. Each one not only smells divine – like summer and dessert vibes in a bottle, as a bonus it also has a smooth and soft consistency each one glides on like butter which I can’t get enough of and doesn’t leave you feeling sticky or super greasy. It honestly doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing anything on my skin. The Body Glow has 3 shades so you can not only have one that works for your individual glow but if you’re like me – you can have one for when you’re ghostly pale in the winter or deliciously tan in the summer it’s an essential for sure. The Glow Daily Face and the On-The-Go Glow Sheer Stick are phenomenal as a base for make up or even just the perfect summer moisturizer. They’re both transparent with just enough shimmer and glow to make you want to cry because of how effortless it looks.
SuperGoop has been my holy grail to glowy skin since they released their GlowScreen Line it in what? 2020? It made it’s way to my make up bag like it did into my heart – instantly. The Glow Screen comes in 4 shades and has a slight shimmer to give you a gorgeous glow it’s better than foundation in my opinion – and I stopped using foundation after I tried these products. The Glow Oil is a spray that I use all over my body every single day – even if I’m going to be in the sun or if every inch of my body is covered – it’s that good. It doesn’t leave a film and it is so moisturizing that I mix it with one of my lotions just to make sure I don’t get dull and dry. The Glow Stick was my first ever purchase from SuperGoop and was the main reason I got hooked on these types of products. I found it, was super intrigued to see if it was as good as I had heard, and I’ve never been without one since. The way it glides onto your skin at any time you want or need to use it, is almost addicting because it feels amazing and give you that glass skin glow. However, the Kopari glow stick does have shimmer and a heavenly sweet smell that I use whenever I want to be a little extra.
Anastasia Beverly Hills released their Shimmer Body Oil that I use as a finisher everyday. It’s in my opinion a sprayable glitter – and I love that. Glowing, glitter, and shimmer are my cannot live without – I love anything that shines, sparkles, and enhances or elevates any look. I’m like a freaking moth to light with how much I’m drawn to this stuff… I wish I was exaggerating but I’m not – it’s my girly girl pageant queen part of me that never goes away. This product is immaculate I use it as I would perfume or setting spray and go about my day. I have noticed from time to time it does require a shake or 2 in order to get a full pump – might be the thickness of the oil in the bottle making like Augustus from Willy Wonka and needing an extra push to get up the tube, but it has yet to fail me.
